We are currently offering a limited number of pet readings per month for pet owners who are open, curious, and want to support the next generation of professional animal communicators. These are student practice pet readings.
This is a donation-based offering guided by Heather Ogilvie, founder of The Islay Wellness Academy, as part of our animal communicators training and mentoring program.
What This Is
Your animal (alive or in spirit) will be read by our top student communicators.
An instructor will also participate to support accuracy and energetic quality
You’ll receive a video recording of the reading
You’ll be requested to provide feedback to help us verify and strengthen the student’s intuitive development
What This Is Not
This is not a professional communication service.
We do not support missing animals, crisis cases, illness and injury, or unresolved behavioural issues in these sessions.
If you need professional help from a communicator for your pet, we recommend:
Animals communicate with us using non-verbal energies which we receive through our clair senses. We then verbalise their thoughts, words, images, feelings, knowing, smells, and tastes.

Why Our Training Is Different
Unlike many animal communication programs, our training doesn't just teach how to read energy — we also teaches why it works.
Heather Ogilvie brings her background in strategy, systems thinking, and subtle energy research to explain the scientific plausibility behind telepathic communication. Our students learn how energy transmits through electromagnetic fields, biological spirals like DNA, and intuitive resonance. Our training bridges intuition with biology, and personal knowing with professional integrity.

Learn More About Our TrainingWhat You’ll Need to Provide
To support a clean and accurate connection, we ask you to submit the following:
A clear, good-quality recent photo of your pet, showing their eyes
Their name, sex, current age, and the age they came to live with you
The names of significant people and other animals in your household
Three questions you would like to ask your pet which the students will ask and receive answers to
Your confirmation that you’re open to receiving any information that arises during the reading
Your understanding that this is a student training session — not a professional service
Your commitment to providing detailed, non-judgemental feedback on the reading
Your permission for the reading to potentially be included as a published case study (with respect for your and your pet’s anonymity if requested)
This clarity supports both the quality of the reading and the growth of our student practitioners.
Submit Your Pet for a Reading
You’ll be asked to upload a clear photo of your pet and complete the short form with the required information and verification — please refer to the section above titled “What You’ll Need to Provide.”
We do not ask for any additional background or personal details. This helps ensure the reading is as “clean” and intuitive as possible, free from human projection or expectation.
Once we’ve reviewed your pet’s photo for clarity and usability, we’ll confirm the scheduled date for the reading and guide you through the next steps, including how to verify the messages received.
